Following the successful passage of the 2020 ESPLOST and Bond Referendums, Hall County Schools completed stadium improvements at each high school, including the installation of artificial turf at five schools.
Stadium improvements were completed at each high school and artificial turf was installed at Chestatee, Cherokee Bluff, East Hall, Johnson and West Hall high schools.
"The voters of Hall County explicitly approved these improvements at each school, and I am excited about the enhanced usability that artificial turf will offer for all of our athletic and extra-curricular programs at each school." said Mark Pettitt.
Artificial turf installation is scheduled for summer 2022 at Flowery Branch High School.
The Hall County Board of Education has once again cut the tax rate for property owners. The new tax rate is the lowest since 2004 and one of the lowest in Georgia.
