Hall County to Create Parent's Bill of Rights

Your Hall County Board of Education Believes Parents/Guardians are the primary educators of their children.

In the coming months, we will solicit your input in areas we believe are important in striving to have a strong relationship with our families:

  • Regular notification of rights empowers active participation.
  • Right to choose placement among all of our schools and programs that have space
  • Right to decide who can discuss distinctly personal information with your child
  • Right to open communication
  • Right to challenge assignments and resources that may be counter to parental beliefs, providing alternative assignments when practical.
  • Right to transparency (no secrets)
  • Right to protection of student data
