The Hall County Board of Education held a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the site of Sandra Dunagan Deal Elementary School.
Located at the corner of Ramsey and White Sulphur roads, the school will consolidate the existing Riverbend and White Sulphur schools and will be a state of the art facility, opening in August 2024. It will have 66 classrooms and capacity for about 1,000 students.
Most importantly, it will bear the name of our Beloved Late First Lady Sandra Deal, who inspired countless Georgians. Mrs. Deal's legacy of love, literacy, compassion and kindness will live on for generations of Hall County students.
The Hall County Board of Education has once again cut the tax rate for property owners. The new tax rate is the lowest since 2004 and one of the lowest in Georgia.
